Planning Approval in Affpuddle! by Barclay Phillips

Last week we were pleased to gain planning approval for our project in Affpuddle. The proposals are to remove some late addition lean-to’s at the rear of the Grade II listed 17th century farm house, and to create an orangery style extension looking into the south facing courtyard.

Acting as a link between the main house and the existing stables, which are to be renovated to form a 2 bedroom guest suite, the extension is contemporary in style to create a juxtaposition between the new and old. Glazing has been used to create clear breaks between the new structure and the listed building, also enabling a light filled space to be formed.

Another Drone Visit to Faulston Barns! by Barclay Phillips

With the site at Faulston Barns not far off total completion, and to aid competition entries made by Derek Warwick Developments and Barclay+Phillips for the International Property Awards, the drone has been back!

The site is looking fantastic in its setting and it is great to see the new residents have settled in. Now we have to keep our fingers crossed for the Property Awards!

B+P Site Visit to Faulston Barns by Barclay Phillips

Last week B+P had an office outing to see progress at Faulston Barns. Three of the units have recently been moved into with the three remaining units being prepared for their new owners to move in shortly.

The site is looking great, the mature planting has really brought it to life, and we are really excited to see the professional photographs that are being taken in the next few weeks!

Headlands - Site Progress by Barclay Phillips

Work is progressing well at the old Headlands Garage! Internally the spaces are now newly plastered and the void space has been opened up. Even in its unfinished state you can already tell that the small building is going to feel amazingly bright and airy! We are really excited to see the progress over the coming weeks as everything starts to get finished!

Site Progress - Headlands by Barclay Phillips

There has been good progress at Headlands over the past few weeks, most noticeably, the tiles are on! Inside the studwork for the bedrooms and bathroom at first floor have been constructed, allowing for the spaces to be understood. We're looking forward to seeing more progress on our next site visit!
