About a month ago we entered 'The International Property Awards' for the 'Architecture of Multiple Residence' award. Today we got some excellent news... we have won an award for our project at Faulston Barns! We are over the moon and pleasantly surprised, now all we need to do is wait until the 27th October to find out the full extent of our award - we can't wait!
Today was Kayleigh's last day at Barclay+Phillips! She has been working as a Part 1 Architectural Assistant during her 'year out' following the completion of her undergraduate degree, however it is now time for her to leave us to start her Master of Architecture degree at Plymouth University in September.
We are sad to see her go and would like to thank her for her hard work over the past year and wish her good luck for the next stage of her architectural training!
We are pleased to announce that our project at Headlands is very nearly complete! At lunch yesterday we popped over to site to get some photos - we think the transformation is amazing!
With the site at Faulston Barns not far off total completion, and to aid competition entries made by Derek Warwick Developments and Barclay+Phillips for the International Property Awards, the drone has been back!
The site is looking fantastic in its setting and it is great to see the new residents have settled in. Now we have to keep our fingers crossed for the Property Awards!
It has been a while since our last update at Bracken and work has been progressing very well! Externally the building is water tight and external landscaping is starting to be formed. Internally the plasterers are working their way around the house, and some rooms have also been painted. The double height living room and feature fireplace look brilliant and we can't wait to see it finished!
A few weeks after our last site visit to Britford Lane it is clear to see progress made on site! Several of the timber frames for the houses have been erected, with the internal fit out well under way in a couple of units. We're looking forward to our next visit!
Last week B+P had an office outing to see progress at Faulston Barns. Three of the units have recently been moved into with the three remaining units being prepared for their new owners to move in shortly.
The site is looking great, the mature planting has really brought it to life, and we are really excited to see the professional photographs that are being taken in the next few weeks!
