Completed in 2015 this brand new club house and camp site provides new leisure facilities for employees of John Lewis Partnership.
Containing the camp site reception, games room laundry, and shower facilities, the new club house is pivotal in the running of the camp site. The shallow pitched roof with over hanging eaves allows for good weather protection when entering and exiting the building, and the horizontal cladding helps it to blend into the site. A plant room is also included within the club house which provides power to all the site pitches and lighting which around the camp site.
The layout for the site is fairly simple, yet makes good use of the land available. A variety of different pitches have been provided around a central grassed communal space and play area, enabling campers to bring tents, caravans, mobile homes or stay in the safari style tents.
