Bidston Avenue

The proposal at Bidston Avenue in Wirral, Merseyside gained planning Permission in early 2017 for the demolition of an existing derelict public house and the erection of a 4 storey building to create 42 apartments for residents of 55 years or older.

The three upper floors comprise the residential apartments, with a landscaped communal open space at first floor. On the ground floor there are 2 visitor guest rooms, communal areas, a residents’ gym, management office and storage space. There are also 30 car parking spaces accessed from Bidston Avenue.

The apartments are a mix of 1 & 2 bedrooms and have been designed to conform to the Lifetime Homes criteria, allowing for each unit to be adapted for future needs of the residents. Though there is a communal courtyard, each apartment also has its own private amenity space in the form of terraces.

We are currently working up the scheme ready to start on site later in 2017.
